The Kibble Kennel: hold streaks and locks
Holding $KIBBLE earns you cosmetic status across the Inu games. It's free, it's read straight from the blockchain, and you don't have to sign up.
Tiers come from hold streaks (free)
Keep at least a tier's amount of $KIBBLE in your own wallet for that tier's number of days in a row.

- Dip below a tier's amount, even for a moment, and that tier's clock restarts. Your other tiers keep counting. For example, going from 1M down to 900K resets Guard Dog, but Pup carries on.
- Moving coins between your own wallets doesn't count as a dip.
- $KIBBLE launched on 15 Oct 2026, so nobody can reach Pup before 22 Oct 2026, and nobody can reach Alpha or Top Dog before 13 Jan 2027.
- If the blockchain history can't be read in full, we count conservatively: a gap can only make your streak shorter, never longer.
What tiers unlock (cosmetics only): a tier name tag on your pup, an Alpha paw-print aura, a Top Dog gold aura and golden name, and a place on the Kennel wall in the Inu Verse plaza. No rewards, no interest, no payouts, and no effect on gameplay.
In Inu Verse, the Kennel wall panel shows your progress, for example "Pup in 5 days if held".
Locking: optional, and it costs money
You can choose to lock some $KIBBLE with Streamflow, a third-party locking service. A live lock of at least 100,000 $KIBBLE adds a "Locked" padlock flair to your pup. That's all. A lock never gives or raises a tier, because tiers come from free holding.
What a lock costs (none of it comes back):
- About 0.168 SOL per lock, for Streamflow's fee plus account rent. Your very first lock is slightly more, about 0.169 SOL.
- 0.5% of the $KIBBLE you lock, charged on top. Locking 100,000 takes 100,500 out of your wallet.
- Locked coins can't be sold until the unlock date. Lock lengths range from 14 days to a year. On the unlock date you get your locked amount back, but not the fees.
The game shows you the exact cost before Phantom opens. Locked coins still count toward your hold streak, so lock a little more than your tier's amount to cover the 0.5%.
You don't need to lock to get any tier. Just hold.
